i plug the ipod shuffle usb dock in to head unit???

it’s a kenwood mp535u i try to hook my ipod shuffle up through the usb port and now i have no sound in my car at all… idk if it’s i messed up the software or what. i check all the wires and everything and it seems like RCA output from the receiver isn’t producing and voltage or amps….can anyone help me???

sounds like a stupid answer but make sure your cd player isnt still in auxillary input mode.
