Ipod Classic Timer

problem of 3rd generation iPod classic sound?

The iPod works fine, syncs with iTunes fine, but every couple songs, there is a high noise and hiss (from the headphones) and the music does not ring. The timer thing on the bottom left of the screen is 0.00 0.01 and 0.00 and back to lound hissing / noise begins. This is still not to do something. I can get the music play by play <<and>> to restart it or I can go about 5 seconds and he plays. This only happens every 4 songs or so, but it varies. It does not happen only when the HD spins up, it happens random, the music, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row. I have restored and that does not help. I have iTunes 8 and, again, is a Generation 3 classics those with 4 touch buttons. I synchronize it with the USB 1.1 if that has anything to do with it.
