Ipod Shuffle Playlist Controls

My Nano is acting up?

I got an iPod Nano (3rd generation) in December, and it’s worked fine since, but just this afternoon, it started acting really weird. I just downloaded a new album onto it, and it won’t play any of the songs. It goes to the album art and directly back to the playlist. Also, the scrolling wheel doesn’t work half the time and I can’t control it’s shuffling the songs. Whenever I go to the main menu and click “Shuffle Songs” to see if it’s set or not, it freezes up for a few seconds and leaves me at the main menu.

Anyone else having problems like mine?

I have not had these problems yet, but remember that it is a small hard drive that holds your info. and it is possible to get a virus if you have used something like limewire for your music. Plug your ipod in, and re-set it to factory settings, this will remove all of the saved data, and then go ahead and re-sync your ipod, that should solve the problem. If not contact apple directly.
