Ipod Touch Memory Upgrades

Should i buy the iPod Touch 3rd generation?

Ok so i have the 1st generation iPod touch. It’s a 16gb and i’ve upgraded it to the 3.1 software but haven’t noticed a big difference in speed/graphics. I was thinking about buying the 32gb third gen itouch. Besides the memory upgrade, do you think i’ll be seeing a big difference? Preferably in graphics intense apps (i like to game ). I’ve already read the specs on apple so i’d prefer people who OWN the third gen itouch (32/64gb only). Thanks for all your input!

3rd generation is much faster. And not only due to software but also hardware – this is why you do not notice a big difference on 1st gen with new software – the hardware is slow and software will not help here.

The only important difference is speed (also speaker and volume control and headphones with a camera).
