Ipod Touch Password Reset Software
PLEASE HELP! i’ve done a master reset on my ipod touch 2.0 because i forgot my password and was locked out,
(the master reset thing was done by holding the on/off button and the menu button, and when the screen goes black let go of the on/off button [this is all while its plugged in] and it came up with ‘we have detected an ipod in recovery mode, blah,’ and i pressed ok to start it.)
When i turn it on it comes up with the cord with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo, when i plug it in it says itunes has discovered an ipod in recovery mode, and it says to restore it so i tried, and it says restore and download software, so i did, and after 6 hours of downloading the software, it was still the same. How do i restore it? My dad is furious, PLEASE PLEASE PLEAASE HELP ME, what do i do, how do i restore it to normal, i beg you to help me. :’(
It is not your fault that your iPod decides to go wacko on you after a completely normal action of resetting it. I would not take any information from anyone except an expert on this. You do not want to mess with your iPod unless you know what you are doing. I would call Apple at 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) free, don’t worry about phone bill charges. You might have to send it in after proving that it is yours and you are not trying to hack into someone else’s iPod. If you registered your iPod or called Apple before, this should be a breeze.
