What to expect of the ipod touch 32gb 3rd generation?

So i bought a 32gb 3rd gen, i’m just waiting for it to be delivered to my house. What shoudle i expect, will it be worth it? I never had an apple ipod before, i already downloaded like 100 songs to sync when it gets here. But i bought it mostly to watch movies and T.V Episodes (thats why i got 32gb instead of 8). I also bought an anit-glare screen protector and clear case online, i’m waiting for it to get here too. I’m so excited cause i get bored in class and always finish early and have nothing to do, but they let us listen to our ipods(i don’t have one.yet!) So what are some features of the 3rd gen? I have gym 4th hour and i do have to run i saw a nike+ app what is that for? Thanks!
