apple ipod?

i know there is the ipod classic and the ipod shuffle…..but when i search ipod nano on google two different results come up….is there 2 ipod nanos?
in google it shows an ipod that is skinny and tall and the other is short and like wide…are they both called ipod nano?

The skinny one is the 2nd generation ipod nano and it only plays music and the short one is the newest 3rd generation nano and you can watch videos on it. Hope i helped
