ipod touch 3rd generation: Warnning For New 3G 8GB iPod Touch owners and 3G Review

Before I begin let me just tell you "what's new" ipod touch 3rd generation (I call some time that the iPod touch iPod touch):

-Faster CPU / Double the Ram / Better graphics (faster startup time for loading / faster is all I did notice)
Double storage for the same old price
Voice Command (I'll explain it in a second)
-Latest firmware for free
New Earbuds with built in remote + Microphone (Then you can use voice control)

And that's all ~ depends on your needs upgrade from 2G to 3G may not be worth it.

On the new voice control function, if you like to take your iPod with you to the gym of the new feature "Voice control" is very cool, allowing you to control your music through your voice, no need to remove the iPod from your pocket, you can simply say "Next" to move to the next song, the word "shuffle" to shuffle, saying "Pause" playing music and going to stop etc, this is why I recommend the iPod touch ipod classic more for users of the gym, my friend bought an iPod classic and now he claims that the iPod classic is too heavy for him when he goes to the gym and he'll have to buy Another iPod "Nano properly" for their Academy, for me, I use my iPod touch to the gym, it is so light that sometimes I forget he's even in my pocket.

After playing around with my iPod touch 3rd generation for a while I honestly did not notice any difference from the outside or the production in comparison to my old iPod Touch second (It's supposed to be faster, but I did not notice anything in music and video playback or menus, but browsing with Safari and facebook upload was fast, even with the boot time), you can only properly be noted that faster with applications from heavy video / music playback is already fast enough to 2G.

I have the iPod touch 64GB 3rd generation for [...]$, think if you update your iPod touch 2G honestly do yourself a favor and save the money unless you really need a lot of storage (I do it is because I I bought one), remember also that the battery lasts less than 2G 3G (3G battery = 30 hours of music playback 2G versus 36 hours of music playback in accordance with the document official apple)

* VERY IMPORTANT to the people who want the new 8GB version, the new 3rd generation iPod touch 3G 8GB is NOT a second generation iPod touch, but Apple did repackage / renamed it the 3rd generation, which seems to be misleading and not by Apple is legal at all, it is the iPod Touch 2G + updated firmware and that's it.

ipod touch 3rd generation 32gb/64GB versions come with a remote microphone + free with the headphones while not 8GB (comes with standard headphones), the New 32GB/64GB have the CPU + Graphics (according to Apple the new CPU is twice as fast as well as the iPhone 3G), while the new 8GB CPU usage same old / Chip of the old second-generation iPod Touch.

IPod touch 3rd generation is the same amazing iPod touch second generation was.
You can play your music / watch your videos / play games, even reading their Kindle books / etc ", you can read amazon great description of what is able to if you do not know, it's better than what I would say, because it has pictures and everything.

IPod touch 3rd generation is the best browser I've seen on a handheld device, do not even need to take my netbook me more thanks to my iPod touch if you hated whose browsers do lame that an accident Batch or slow (many cell phones) trust me, the iPod touch browser is not a toy or a trick that is a browser, you can depend on, is super fast and smooth and then use it for a full year as it only crashed once on me!

Short list of pros and cons on the iPod touch this 3rd generation

Pros:
Slick device, small and light
-Large touchscreen
The BEST web-browser on a portable device
Amazing playing music / video
-App Store (too cool applications Free)
video screen is clear and bright
Non-bugs and other annoying things a very reliable hardware
64GB flash-based mp3 player

Cons:
-Not much of an update on 2G (people were disappointed because they do not get upgrades such as camera / OLED / etc)
weaker battery only lasts 30 hours for music playback vs. 2G ipod touch music playback 36 hours
Expensive for the 64GB version
-Still no FM radio without the use of online applications
-Bluetooth is still half locked

Update: One more reason to avoid the 8GB iPod touch, Apple announced today "09 de abril 2010" that the iPhone OS 4.0 will be released this summer and will bring many new features for iPhone and iPod touch, however, some features only available as multitasking for iPhone 3G and higher or iPod touch 3rd generation and higher (as I said before the second generation 8GB is just an ipod touch 8gb 3rd generation will not there! so you will be receiving multi-tasking if you buy the ipod touch 8GB)
